  4. Entrepreneurial spirit: Owners and managers of these SMEs who are open to innovation and willing to adapt their business models for sustainability.
  5. Educational background: A diverse group with varying levels of familiarity with sustainability principles, from beginners to those with some prior knowledge.
  6. Resource constraints: Some SMEs may face resource limitations and seek cost-effective solutions for sustainability integration.
  7. Geographic scope: The SMEs need to have been registered and have operations in Africa.
