Task
Design and develop the KCB Group Environmental and Social (E&S) Risk Categorization Tool.
Approach/Execution
- Mapping of perceived and real risks and opportunities.
- Development and deployment of the Bank’s E&S risk assessment survey.
- Analysis and review of the E&S risks and opportunities including stakeholder engagement (deep dive sessions, consultations).
- Development of a risk indicator matrix that is aligned to the Group’s current and future projected portfolio.
Solution
The E&S Categorization Tool has enabled KCB to be aware of their E&S risks across the business as well as being a critical tool utilized in the evaluation of credit risk and exposure.
