Client:- GIZ for SMEs.
Task
Developing the business case for African climate adaptation SMEs in their growth stages to attract and catalyze impact and private capital flows into the sector.
Approach/Execution
- Development of an inception report.
- Mapping of SMEs utilizing climate adaptation finance.
- Co-creation of an impact survey with the client and deploying it.
- Reviewing of survey responses including stakeholder consultation with the SMEs as well.
- Developing a Multi-Criteria Impact Analysis (MCIA) on climate adaptation projects
Solution
The business case tool was vital for GIZ (client) to utilize in designing and deploying a climate adaptation grant to SMEs.
