HR Officer
Job Purpose
The Human Resource (HR) officer is responsible for shaping all human resources practices and goals that foster a culture centred on employees and high performance, with a strong focus on quality, productivity, goal achievement, and empowerment. Additionally, this role involves creating and overseeing processes and metric reporting systems that align with Impact Africa’s values and purpose, while also serving as the company’s talent expert.
Main Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Liaise with Partner and Managers to understand their HR requirements and ensure they are fully informed of the HR strategy.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify training needs of the staff.
- Overseeing the talent acquisition process, including reviewing job descriptions, website advertising and selection of CV’s, attending interviews and selecting candidates.
- Creating and continually improving offer letters and contracts of employment, whilst managing the timely distribution of such documents.
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits involving research and proposing competitive pay packages to ensure Impact Africa attracts and retains top talent.
- Conduct regular review of the company's talent management processes including performance management and resource planning.
- Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Provide insight and recommendations on HR initiatives that can be leveraged to strengthen business results.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes human resources, talent management and labour laws.
- Maintain compliance with relevant and applicable labour laws and regulations, review of HR policies.
